I grew up in a small town called Pedong in Darjeeling. I had to start leading worship in the church quite early in my life because there was no one else to take that responsibility at that particular time. I still remember struggling to learn one typical Nepali rhythm the whole night because I had to lead worship the other day.
I got a chance to grow under very gracious leadership so got enough space to make mistakes and learn [Still Learning, still making mistakes]. God is good who calls us to fulfill His good purpose in this life and in this world through the gifts and abilities He has given us. I am learning to walk with Him.
I began writing songs in 2002, at the age of 14.
Some of my best known songs are ‘Yeshu ko Chhatima’, ‘Anugraha Ko Inaar’ and ‘Paramprabhule Jutaunuhunchha’
Currently I am a worship leader at CrossWay Community Church, Kathmandu.
I also travel around the world to teach about worship and lead worship.
I live in Kathmandu with my beautiful wife Sophia Lama Dewan.
